In the first picture the is sun is coming up. Second photo is our barn. The other pictures are of the gravel road going out to the blacktop road.
When we are young, we are in spring time, everything is new to us, and we are still learning about life. We take more chances, knowing that is part of learning. At times we don’t know what direction to go in, what job do we want? Where do we want to live? Who do we want to spend our life with? There is so many questions that we want to know the answers to.
Next comes summer, by that time we have answer some of our questions that we had when we were younger. We are more mature and starting to understand what is important in our lives and what isn’t. By the time fall is here, we are starting to slow down some and that is O.k. We know that we must start taking better care of our bodies, it needs to last us a long time. We can make changes in our life, if there are things in our life that we want to change. Perhaps moving to another location, or changing jobs, etc. Most choices that we had made in the past, aren't set in stone. Winter time is when we can look back over the seasons. We have come a long way in understanding ourselves and other people. The most important things in our lives are our love ones. We have more time now to enjoy what Mother Nature has made for us. We need Rain and the Sun shine to make things grow; like flowers, trees, grasses, bushes, crops out in the field, and etc. A person also needs the Sun to brighten their heart, to light it up so to speak. We feel at peace with the world. The Sun is the good times, and good things that happens to us. The Rain; it can darken our hearts for a while, it makes us feel sad because of things in our life that we have no control over, but at times we need the rain to grow and become stronger, to learn what we need to do to get the Sun back in our life again. When someone we know has the Sun in their life we can feel their joy, and the warm light that comes from inside of them out. There will always be beautiful rainbows after a rain, even at times when we don't see the rainbow, it is there. Thoughts run through our minds like water running down a mountain top. Our thoughts control what mood we are in.Think happy thoughts, then you are happy, think sad thoughts ,then you are sad. We need to try to keep positive thoughts in our minds; it isn’t easy at times to do it. When you get bad thoughts in your mind, say the word, “stop,” out loud or just to yourself, and then change your thoughts to good thoughts. You may have to say the word, “stop” several times to remove the bad thoughts.
There are times when we have problems in our life that we have to try to think about ways to solve our problems. What isn’t good is when we keep bad thoughts in our mind about things that we have no control over. Happy thoughts = happy person. Friends in a way are like beautiful flowers; there are many different kinds of flowers and colors, just like our friends are.
There are times when we thought that someone was a flower friend but they turned out to be nothing but a weed that keeps bringing us down to the ground. They are not a part of our beautiful flowers of friends that keep us up, reaching for the sun and the stars. We need to weed out our flower garden at times, just like we need to weed out friends that keep pulling us down in life. Flowers make us happy and weeds can make us sad. The best gift that you can give someone is your time. What most people remembers the most are the good times spent with loved ones or friends.
Gifts are nice, but the gift of happy memories with loved ones or friends, lasts forever in their mind. Take the time to play games, or go to movies. Take walks or watch the sun setting together. The gift of your time is something that money can’t buy. A man was climbing up a high cliff, and was almost to the top when he heard a noise that sounded like a snake. He thought, should I climb to the top and get bite by the snake and die, or should I just let go and fall to my death?
Back then they didn’t have the stuff that they have now for climbing, he was just using his hands and feet to climb up the Mt. top. After a few minutes he decided to take his chance with the snake. When he reached the top he didn’t see the snake, but he did see the wind blowing a bush, and that was what was making a noise like a hissing snake. The point is when you don’t know for sure about something, hang on, it may be only a bush making a noise, not a snake. Life is like the ocean, when one wave comes in and knocks you down, another wave will come along and lifts you right back up to the top.
