What Baltimore Orioles eat; insects, fruit and nectar. This is a list of some insects that they eat; grasshoppers, spiders, caterpillars, web worms and flies. We put out orange slices, and sugar water in a small dish for them. We use the same mixture of sugar water that we make for the hummingbirds.
